A dog training collar will really help the owner more than the dog
A dog training collar is a wonderful device. It is a fantastic investment, especially if your dog is stubborn or has had many bad habits that have been re-enforced. Sometimes it takes a little more than a rolled up newspaper to remove the bad habits and re-enforce the good habits. There are two main types of dog training collar options that are currently available on the market.
The most common dog training collar is the one that will administer a small shock to your dog when he barks. This is best for those dogs that don’t seem to understand what ‘Shut-up’ means when yelled from the top of the stairs at 3 AM. Even if your dog is an outside dog, your neighbours might appreciate it if your dog would not be barking in the middle of the night. The second type of training collars is one that will again; administer a small shock to your dog if he goes outside the boundaries of your yard. This is wonderful for those dogs that like to pretend to be an escape artist. The boundaries can be set to any shape of yard and the ‘fence’ is invisible. Your dog just won’t want to cross the street.
A dog training collar is a wonderfully stress free way to train your dog. It takes a lot of the pressure off of you. It will also re-enforce the habits you want even when you aren’t around to discipline your dog. The electronic shocks that are given to your dog are harmless. They will not do any damage, so it is also an almost guilt free way to punish your dog for those people who have problems hitting their dog with a rolled up newspaper. Which is perfectly understandable. Very few people will whack their child with a rolled up newspaper and so many of us think of our dogs as our child. A training collar is a more humane way to train your dog.
