A dog leash is mandatory for all dogs
A dog leash can be one of the most annoying things for a dog. After all, all that they want to do is run free and wild. Through fences and knocking over trashcans, and a dog leash just gets in the way. What fun is there if someone else has the ability to make you stop and go, whenever they wanted you too?
A dog leash is just another way to keep your dog safe. He may not see it that way, however he also sees a fire hydrant as a bathroom. I’m not so sure that I want to see things the exact same way that a dog does. The leash keeps your dog from running after everything that catches his attention and with a dog, almost everything catches his attention. From squirrels to moving vehicles, dogs will chase anything, anywhere and not pay any attention to where he is going.
A dog leash makes sure that he comes home with you. There are many parks that now offer a fenced off area for your dog to run free in. And as the law requires leashes, it is best to buy one and train your dog on it as soon as you get your dog. The sooner your dog learns to live with it around his neck, the sooner you will be able to let him off it to run free.
