A cockatiel cage will help protect your bird

A cockatiel cage is important for the protection of your bird. After all, cockatiels are expensive birds and anything that will help keep your cockatiel safe is a good thing. A cockatiel cage does not have to be an ugly wire cage. There are some cages on the market that are actually quite pretty. Try to find one that both you and your cockatiel will enjoy.

A cockatiel cage can be made from either wood or metal. The materials involved in the cage aren’t really that important. The only thing that is important is that you have something to keep your cockatiel safe. Cages after all, were designed not only to keep things in but also to keep things out. It’s hard to keep your cockatiel safe if your cat, dog or small child has access to it.

A cockatiel cage is a necessary piece of equipment if you have a cockatiel or are thinking about getting one. Always keep the bird inside the cage. No matter how tempting it is to let the bird out, even if it can’t fly away, there are still other predators out there that will gladly take your bird for a meal. Just ask my cat, he got our neighbour’s $200 cockatiel for dinner one day. They let the bird out of his cage and a window open. That was the only opportunity that my cat needed, unfortunately for the cockatiel. So, be careful with your bird, danger comes in many forms. Keep him safe in his cage. He will thank you for it.
