A chinchilla cage will keep out all outside predators such as cats or dogs and even small children. A chinchilla can rest easy in his chinchilla cage, safe in the knowledge that a cat can’t just climb in and make him a noontime snack. Or that a small kid can’t just pick him up and hug him to death without adult supervision to help keep him safe.

A chinchilla cage can come in many sizes and the more chinchillas you have the bigger the cage should be. And if you don’t want to start breeding them you might want to have a cage for the boys and a cage for the girls (sort of what most parents wish they could have for their teenagers).

A chinchilla cage is available at most pet stores. Or you can buy one online for a better selection of cages and toys. After all, all pets need to have something to keep them entertained. They need to have something to do in between eating and sleeping. Something that will make them look cute, so you will still want to feed them. After all, looking cute is their job.
