A cat tree is a necessity for every couch
A cat tree will help keep your cat’s claws trimmed. That is very important to your couch, chairs and curtains. A cat tree can also be a place that belongs only to your cat. It is his quiet refuge from the world. It is a sanctuary for him to get away from the everyday stress of life. As well, we certainly know how stressful a cat’s life can be.
A cat tree is a better alternative then having your cat declawed. All cats need their claws more than you need a complete couch. Their claws are their only defence and you can never assume that even a pampered house cat won’t have need to defend himself or herself.
If you get your cat a cat tree, it will give him a place to trim his claws and that won’t interfere with your sitting arrangements. And it will give him a comfortable place to nap and won’t require you to redo that top layer of your laundry. That perhaps, is the best part about owning a cat tree. One little thing like that saves so much furniture and laundry.
