A cat treat is your cat’s reward for not eating the whole turkey
A cat treat is your way of saying thanks to your cat for not eating the whole Christmas turkey. Or for deciding not to scratch the couch down to it’s very stuffing. A cat treat lets your cat know, that you care mostly about your house. However, he doesn’t need to know that. Cat treats can be a wonderful distraction as well as a reward. But don’t let a treat replace the word NO. Don’t give into your cat every time he wants a treat; and starts to climb your drapes.
A cat treat can come in many forms. The most popular of course is catnip. Catnip is a harmless herb that is often used in tea, which maybe why your cat has a tendency to try to drink your chamomile tea. Or at least spill it on the floor and roll in it. There are other treats available on the market as well.
A cat treat can be almost anything. As long as it is something that your cat enjoys and that he does not get everyday. After all, everyone deserves a treat every now and again. Why not our pets? They are part of the family, after all.
