Every cat should have a cat ID tag

It is important that all cats have a cat ID tag. They are the only things that will let someone off the street know where your cat lives. As much as we would like to think that our cat could never get lost, that unfortunately isn’t the case. A cat ID tag is the best way to insure that your cat will be returned to you.

A cat ID tag is a good idea even if you have an indoor cat. You may think that your cat will never escape into the great outdoors but unfortunately that may not be the case. As the old saying goes ‘curiosity killed the cat’. It may not kill him, but if he becomes lost and confused; someone else may decide that your cat is a stray and adopt him.

With a cat ID tag; everyone will know where your cat belongs and he should be returned safely to you. If he is picked up the SPCA or a local shelter, it gives them the information that they need to call you and tell you where your cat is. That is a win-win situation for everyone, especially your cat.
