There are many tricks and short cuts to animal grooming. It is always important however to have the right tool for the right job. It is almost impossible to remove a mat from your pet with a flea comb. You may hurt your loving pet and they may not be as receptive the next time you wish to groom them. Animal grooming can be a very tricky thing.

When you are animal grooming, one of the best tricks that I have found is to wait until they are asleep. Especially if you are having difficulties with a nasty tangle. If your pet is snug and warm and falling asleep they are much more relaxed and will let you get a lot closer with your scissors if they don’t see them coming. Always use the right tool when you are animal grooming. It will save you a lot of hassle later on. It is better to spend the money now as oppose to the frustration later. If it is done right, the time spent grooming your animal can be a wonderful bonding experience that the two of you may look forward too. If it is done wrong, it can be a nightmare for both of you.
