New yard trainers make outdoor activities with pets easier
Two new yard trainers from SportDog are ideal
for teaching dogs the basics or to begin serious training for bird hunting. They are part of
a complete line of new products by SportDog that make gun dog training easier and more
affordable. These trainers use breakthrough technology from Radio Systems for
unmatched reliability and ease of use.
“These are great trainers for working in the yard or around the house with your dog,” said
Lance Tracy, Director of Sales and Marketing for SportDog. “Because they are so
affordable and easy to use, they are ideal for obedience training as well as starting a dog
on field commands.”
The SportDog yard trainers have a 100-yard range that is sufficient to work with dogs
around the yard, park and other environments. The regular Yard Trainer is for small-to
average-size dogs and the Stubborn Dog Yard Trainer is for larger or stubborn dogs.
They both feature a waterproof collar/receiver and a safety shut-off mechanism. They’re
designed to be very simple to use, with ten correction levels that can be set easily with a
thumbwheel on the transmitter. In addition to being very affordable, both of these
trainers are backed by a lifetime warranty.
SportDog specializes in products for hunting enthusiasts and people who enjoy outdoor
activities with their dogs. Products include remote trainers, yard trainers and tracking
devices to aid in hunting.
