Leaving your dog with a foster parent
The day might come when you have to leave your dog with someone for an extended period of time. This can happen to anyone -- and it has happened to soldiers who recently have served in the American military.
Pet Sitters International spearheaded a project to place those animals with temporary caregivers. The project is called Pet Patriots.
In support of Pet Patriots, Kenneth Phillips prepared the following Authorization and Agreement for Temporary Care of Pet to provide temporary care for a pet, confirm that the pet will be returned to the owner, and limit liability. This agreement can be used by anyone who has to leave his or her dog with a "foster parent."
